Anyways, I don't know him or how he acts, but (no offense) being 10 does put a pretty big wedge in the door for me. I'm going to abstain from voting for this one.

He's not 10, he was playing since he was 10, he's 16 now.

He's not 10, he was playing since he was 10, he's 16 now.

In terms of the rules of grammar, that sentence states that he is 10 years old and has played since he was four or five. :<

He should have said "I have played since I was 10."

Voting yes now, only deterrent for me was the age.
